    That is the hard way to get a dog into his house. All you need is a blanket for cover and make it into a den. Then you let it be the dog’s idea.

    I rescued my Dane, they fed, watered, punished her all in that crate. Dismantled it over a week. Now she seams a lot happerier sleeping by my bed side. A lot of people crate train though.

      I’ve never had to use a crate on a dog and never will.
      My dogs have their set food time in the same place at about the same time every day. They know where to go when I tell them to go lay down.

    My adopted fluff went into his carrier crate out of habit when he first got here. I turned the thing into a bed and over time he stopped using it. Prefers the couch or random places in the hallway now but for whatever reason will not sleep in the same bed with me!

    Hes too big for a crate now so a seatbelt attachment for his harness is a must.
