Services have not yet been announced. I’ll let you know when I find out.

  9. Bill nnva says:

Just this this morning I was thinking of him…
Do not despair, do not relent.
We welcome the removal of masks and the hardness of truth. You are not alone. We were here when it all started. We have paid in blood and tears, as many of you now realize you will have to pay. Do not let fear drive you. Do not give up five minutes before the miracle occurs. You are not beaten until you are in the cold hard ground. Do not hide. Do not give up one inch. Go boldly into the fray with faith in your heart and a song on your lips. You, the patriots of this age are our Sinn Fein we need you to stand. And in standing, become the stone that cannot be moved.
Find the Militia in your State, you will find a brotherhood that the Marxists and the Corrupt cannot match. You will be welcomed, you will be educated, you will be trained to be an effective freedom fighter.
“We are what our forefathers envisioned, strong-willed,and self-reliant. We are the legacy they fought to build. We are not anti-government, We are anti-corruption. We are not anti-immigrant, We are pro-citizenship. We are not separatists, We are Constitutionalists. We know our history and revere it, We love our country and fear for it. We are your mechanics, and your insurance agents. Your police and your firefighters. We are your neighbors. We are Citizens and We are the Militia.”

    “A Hard Rain’s A-Gonna Fall”
Oh, where have you been, my blue-eyed son ?
And where have you been my darling young one ?
I’ve stumbled on the side of twelve misty mountains
I’ve walked and I’ve crawled on six crooked highways
I’ve stepped in the middle of seven sad forests
I’ve been out in front of a dozen dead oceans
I’ve been ten thousand miles in the mouth of a graveyard
    And it’s a hard, it’s a hard, it’s a hard, and it’s a hard
    It’s a hard rain’s a-gonna fall.
Oh, what did you see, my blue eyed son ?
And what did you see, my darling young one ?
I saw a newborn baby with wild wolves all around it
I saw a highway of diamonds with nobody on it
I saw a black branch with blood that kept drippin’
I saw a room full of men with their hammers a-bleedin’
I saw a white ladder all covered with water
I saw ten thousand takers whose tongues were all broken
I saw guns and sharp swords in the hands of young children
    And it’s a hard, it’s a hard, it’s a hard, and it’s a hard
    It’s a hard rain’s a-gonna fall.
And what did you hear, my blue-eyed son ?
And what did you hear, my darling young one ?
I heard the sound of a thunder, it roared out a warnin’
I heard the roar of a wave that could drown the whole world
I heard one hundred drummers whose hands were a-blazin’
I heard ten thousand whisperin’ and nobody listenin’
I heard one person starve, I heard many people laughin’
Heard the song of a poet who died in the gutter
Heard the sound of a clown who cried in the alley
    And it’s a hard, it’s a hard, it’s a hard, it’s a hard
    And it’s a hard rain’s a-gonna fall.
Oh, who did you meet my blue-eyed son ?
Who did you meet, my darling young one ?
I met a young child beside a dead pony
I met a white man who walked a black dog
I met a young woman whose body was burning
I met a young girl, she gave me a rainbow
I met one man who was wounded in love
I met another man who was wounded and hatred
    And it’s a hard, it’s a hard, it’s a hard, it’s a hard
    And it’s a hard rain’s a-gonna fall.
And what’ll you do now, my blue-eyed son ?
And what’ll you do now my darling young one ?
I’m a-goin’ back out ‘fore the rain starts a-fallin’
I’ll walk to the deepths of the deepest black forest
Where the people are a many and their hands are all empty
Where the pellets of poison are flooding their waters
Where the home in the valley meets the damp dirty prison
Where the executioner’s face is always well hidden
Where hunger is ugly, where souls are forgotten
Where black is the color, where none is the number
And I’ll tell and think it and speak it and breathe it
And reflect it from the mountain so all souls can see it
Then I’ll stand on the ocean until I start sinkin’
But I’ll know my songs well before I start singin’
    And it’s a hard, it’s a hard, it’s a hard, and it’s a hard
    It’s a hard rain’s a-gonna fall.

  21. LimaDelta says:

From mine and myself, our prayers to the Vanderboegh family. Mikes words were among the first in the liberty movement I had the pleasure of reading (online) and struck me as much profound as articulate. Though, because this is a dead email, the jolly roger will still fly but more importantly, because of Mike Vanderboegh, the Nyberg will always remain on the chest of my armor carrier.

He’s at peace now. Prayers and strength to his family. I do believe we’ll hear from Mike from beyond the grave in the future. After all, I remember him writing he left some suprises for release after he was gone………

  26. H says:

Mike was fairly well educated and a man of letters, and was presumably well familiar with this work of John Donne about 400 years ago:

No man is an island, entire of itself; every man is a piece of the continent, a part of the main. If a clod be washed away by the sea, Europe is the less, as well as if a promontory were, as well as if a manor of thy friend’s or of thine own were: any man’s death diminishes me, because I am involved in mankind, and therefore never send to know for whom the bells tolls; it tolls for thee.

  27. idahobob says:

    The originator of the III.

He is now resting in the arms of Jesus.

  28. X says:

Fair winds and following seas Mike. I came to the Liberty movement through Sipsey St., and from there found all the other blogs. We owe you a great debt of gratitude. I don’t have the words.

  29. Geoff C. the Saltine says:

I did not know Mike, but this I know, he stood for truth and justice.
He was the first to report on Fast and Furious, when many would not believe that the ATF and the DOJ where in lock step to sell guns to the cartels to take away our rights to own guns.
God speed, and may you hit the down and away wing shot.

  30. Lofty says:

    Rest in Peace dear fellow.

  31. anonymous says:

  33. Thank you Mike for all your words of direction. RIP.

  34. Heathen says:

    77. Cattle die,and kinsmen die,
    And so one dies one’s self;
But a noble name will never die,
    If good renown one gets.

    78. Cattle die,and kinsmen die,
    And so one dies one’s self;
One thing now that never dies,
The fame of a dead man’s deeds.

    -from the Havamal.

    May he rest at last.

Play nice.
