“an unaware and compliant citizenry”

A Clinton campaign email released as part of the Wikileaks data dump earlier today talks about the need to maintain political power by producing “an unaware and compliant citizenry”.
The email was sent to Hillary Clinton’s campaign chairman John Podesta by former Clinton administration official Bill Ivey on March 13, 2016.

  1. Anything in there about the ‘Final Solution’ ?

    • Unclezip says:

      Only for the Deplorable.

      • Speaking of which, my two “Deplorables for Trump” signs are still there and untouched, finally saw a Hillary yard sign but she’s still outnumbered by the Johnson, Bernie and “…for Prison” yard signs.

        • Wirecutter says:

Lisa’s got her Trump sign and I’ve got my Hillary For Prison sign up near the road and nobody’s messed with them at all. I don’t recall seeing any pro-Hillary signs at all around here.

          • Ah! But (lucky me) I live in MA, so the lack of Hillary signs is kind of interesting.
But I don’t think they’re counting as much on live voters this time. After living in this town for 34 years and voting in almost every election, this summer I found out that I had been dropped from the registered voter list. The lame explanation, ‘They were purging inactive voters’. I’m sure, especially if they had an (R) or (I) after their name.
Trump isn’t going to get enough ahead to beat the cheat.

        • Andrew says:

Saw my first Hillary sign, which went up today. Two houses down on either side are Trump signs, which have been out for over a month. This is in a city that sometimes makes Berkley look conservative.

Still more Obozo bumper stickers than anything else, lots of Trump, Bernie and Johnson and a few Steins, but no Hillary.

The car art against Hillary is getting heavy. Saw three cars today that had anti-Hillary sculptures on them, another 4 with signs against her.

Ok so Trump wasn’t my 1st, 2nd or 3rd choice but it’s down to the point that the real choice is between 2 candidates. I’m going to vote for what I believe is the best of what we have to choose from, I know I know but I refuse to just hand over this country lock, stock and barrel to the Klinton party.
Choose wisely, whether we have a future as a somewhat free country not pretty much rides on this election.

      There is another option.
Using the 2nd Amendment for it’s designed purpose. But that would involve hauling out those precious safe queens and getting them dirty, if their owners even have the balls to open the safe in the first place.
Folks, the time has come where you can no longer keep trying to vote your way out of this mess, the stink of corruption is so deep nothing will fix it, the rigged voting alone will ensure your vote goes down the toilet.
But we’re already a compliant citizenry, so I don’t expect anything to change, except the political posters every 4 yrs, a game you can pass on to your grandchildren, just as your grandparents did for you.

      • John Deaux says:

I wasn’t referring to one policy subject but of the overall picture of this election. I have never and am not now going to or not vote for someone on one policy, each has a rating of importance but not deal breakers, if that’s your choice knock yourself out you’ll get no argument from me.
As to your other subject, personally I don’t own a safe, mine are used regularly to do what I got them for so there’s no reason to lock them up.
The time maybe upon us, maybe it’ll be soon, maybe it’s already past. I guess that decision kinda depends on where and how you live.
Carry on Marine, Thank You for your service.

  3. CC says:

That’s why we’re deplorable – we’re neither unaware or compliant.

  4. Elmo says:

Meanwhile, Hillary says she “respects the Second Amendment”.
And she wants to lead a government of, by and for a compliant and unaware citizenry.

    • rick says:

She beast loves and respects the 2A so much she wants to hide it away. For safe keeping of course.

  5. M. Sage says:

They’re in luck. Between the media and public schools, they’ve got such a citizenry. This election is abundant proof of that.

  6. Heathen says:

I need to see about getting a half dozen Hillary yard signs…

Then take them to the outdoor range at the gun club & use them for targets !
