We’ve all heard the story about how Thanksgiving became a tradition and while it may or may not be completely true, it’s become a day when we gather with friends and family when possible and give Thanks for the good things in the past year as well as the bad things that helped us grow stronger.
It’s been a good year for me and my wife – we prevailed in a couple of bullshit court cases, I retired after 24 years, 11 months and 3 days from a job I hated, and me and Lisa got the hell out of California, moving to a place that’s just one step down from Heaven as far as I’m concerned.
We’ve had our ups and downs but that’s what life’s all about, right? I’ve been in worse spots and seen harder times, that’s for damned sure.
I want to wish each and every one of you a Happy Thanksgiving. Enjoy your day with family and friends if you’re able and be thankful for what you have.
God bless all of you.
