To be honest, that could be me. Hands of stone with limited coordination. O/D lineman was about it. Grade school Basketball was the only sport I ever walked away from. THAT was for the good of the team; too many passes bounced off my face and went out of bounds. Hell, my wife taught our daughter how to play catch. Kindergarten teacher brought up during a conference that our daughter was showing “substandard progress” in catching things. I told her I was 33 and can’t catch either so what’s your point.

Seen the exact thing happen when I was a kid playing little league. The kid playing right field had his hands up like that saying “I got it! I got it!”. The ball went right through his hands, bounced off his head and went about 15 feet straight up in the air, whereupon he dropped to his knees. When everybody ran up to him he said he was okay and shook it off.

50+ years later and it’s still funny to think of.

Bad coordination but A+++ on the legs!

Being a good ball handler is an important people skill to cultivate.
