Berlin attacker shot dead dead dead by Milan police

BERLIN — The suspect in the Berlin Christmas market attack was shot dead Friday at a Milan checkpoint by an Italian police trainee, ending an international manhunt but raising new fears as an Islamic State video purported to show the attacker calling for more bloodshed in Europe.

The 24-year-old Tunisian, Anis Amri, was killed following a dramatic encounter in the Piazza I Maggio in the Sesto San Giovanni area outside Milan, after a two-man patrol stopped him for questioning around 3:15 a.m. on suspicion of burglary.

  1. A Rookie cop, young enough so his liver can tolerate all the free drinks he’s got coming.

    On the other hand, Italy is so far gone that he’s got a target on his back and a price on his head within the Muslim ‘Community’.

  2. Andrew says:

    Horray! It is a merrier Christmas now. Hopefully some good will come out of all of this horror, but it is sounding more and more like Tom Kratman’s ‘Caliphate’ novel. (It is a dark read about a potential future and how the world got there.)

  3. Ed says:

    One less evil Jihadi in the world. It’s the Most Wonderful Time in Eight Years!

  4. Jack58 says:

    Burn in Hell, Raghead Bastard…Oh, and Merry Christmas!

  5. Sendarius says:

    Yeah, SURE he was.

    How many had a similar reaction to mine?

    “Nothing to see here. The bad guy is dead, so we can’t ask him any questions, and we don’t need to keep looking. Move along now.”

  6. Very convenient. Now the ‘alleged perpetrator’ of the Berlin Christmas attacks is silent forever … while there are still lots of questions to be asked about this incident and its ‘alleged perpetrator’.

    Meanwhile, the German public go through the usual Five Stages:
    1. depositing candles and cuddly toys with tearful grief at the incident scene;
    2. loud and public condemnation of the attack by all politicians and religious leaders, combined with the old chestnuts of “there is no universal security” and “we have the responsibility to help the poor refugees” and “yes, we can turn Germany into a multi-colored, diverse, multi-cultural society — in a safe and amenable way for all”. Usually, Frau Merkel is the loudest of these fantasy-driven orators; closely followed by the quislings of the protestant and catholic faiths.
    3. endless in-depth analysis of the incident and the ‘alleged perpetrator’ in the media … with the usual result: he/she was traumatized by a difficult childhood in some oriental hellhole, or by the violence of the war, or by the traumatic experiences during his migration to Germany, etc.; this was a singular case, not at all to be connected with Islam (because: religion of peace);
    4. all politicians across the whole spectrum promise a decisive response and more protection of the German population (usually, this means a tightening of our weapons laws and more surveillance by the state);
    5. after about two weeks (more or less) the incident is largely forgotten and life goes on as usual. To mention this or similar other incidents again immediately brands you as a Nazi, a xenophobe, an ultra-right has-been and will disqualify you forever from any public discourse.

    Truly, we are approaching interesting times.

    Well done, Frau Merkel, in executing the last order of the Stasi, namely to destroy Germany.

If your comment 'disappears', don't trip - it went to my trash folder and I will restore it when I moderate.
