California’s overstepping it’s authority on a Federal issue

SACRAMENTO ( — California may prohibit local law enforcement from cooperating with federal immigration authorities, creating a border-to-border sanctuary in the nation’s largest state as legislative Democrats ramp up their efforts to battle President Donald Trump’s migration policies.

Easy fix , turn off the cash flow. If you do not cease the foolishness of the sancuary cities no more federal $$ . If the feds stop all the welfare payments for a couple of weeks things will get interesting .

  2. Oscar2Marine says:

Is California still a State ? All Federal assistance should stop, until the silent few remaining workers get pissed enough to do something !

  3. SAM says:

If you don’t cooperate on one federal law they shouldn’t on any like the NFA only seem right to me.

  4. Mark R says:

Agreed, no mo money fo youses..

  5. bogsidebunny says:

Yes, money makes the corrupt Liberal politicians rich and withholding federal funds will make the Dem-O-Turds squirm alright. But ya gotta have a “plan-B”

How about Ike’s idea for the Little Rock segregation crisis and riots circa 1957.

Eisenhower knew he had to act boldly. He placed the Arkansas National Guard under federal control and sent 1,000 U.S. Army paratroopers from the 101st Airborne Division to assist them in restoring order in Little Rock.

  6. Elmo says:

And California’s new Moonbeam-appointed AG Xavier Becerra has promised to use taxpayer money to cover the legal costs of illegals fighting deportation.
CBS Los Angeles isn’t going to mention that little fact.

I hope those politicians get there dick slammed in the door.

California was once a great State. I worked out of Vandenberg during the Apollo days and enjoyed all of California up and down the coast.

It really pisses me off to see what all those asshats have done to a once beautiful place.

We shouldn’t give up on California tho, we should line up, shoulder to shoulder, and march westwards from the eastern border (top to bottom) and shove every one of those SJW’s, illegals, progressives, homos, trannies, etc. etc. etc. into the Pacific.

    Just sayin….

My dad worked range tracking out of Vandenberg during the Apollo days. We lived first in Santa Maria and then on base. His office was in Lompoc. I miss the California that once was. I miss my grandma’s house in quiet little Porterville (we always knew we were close to that town when we saw the Paul Bunyan statue.) I miss going to sleepy little railroad towns in the middle of no-where where English was a second language and getting real Mexican food.

Maybe this is the beginning of the end of Kaliforia, and the return of California. I hope so.

Most of CAs h2o comes from other states. Simple. Turn off the tap. Seal off the states eastern border. Wait.

  11. Of course the socialist govt of california wont comply. If they did, half the pop of california would be evicted. That would probably tip the vote balance.

  12. Miles Long says:

    “The nation’s largest state…”

WTF? Largest or most populous? Words matter.

Yeah, I know… pick, pick, pick.

  13. Hillbilly says:

Ca. is what 900 miles long, with exception of L.A. the Bay Area and now Sacramento all the heavy populated areas are liberal lunatics, well most of them. But the eastern part, the mother lode and northern Ca are not. Population is mostly libtard, but the mass is not. Check out SOJ51. com or net.

  14. Antibubba says:

The California plan is a direct defiance of Federal law, which will probably be overruled. A more subtle approach would be to tell state and local LE that they are free to prosecute or decline, but that no extra money will be provided for the task. Is a sheriff going to waste time looking for papers when he has 8 deputies to patrol an entire county?

Even if the money is there, turning local LE into ICE means that otherwise law-abiding illegals are going to be even more afraid to talk to police, making crimes even harder to resolve. Police solve crimes because people tell them things.

All comments about Commiefornia aside, what are the limits to Federal control inside a state? Marijuana is illegal in the US, but several states have said, “Naw, man, it’s good”. Who is right?

I live in California and I look forward to the day I leave it, but Fuck the Feds.

    • Wirecutter says:

The Constitution is clear on that – what’s not covered in it are State’s Rights. Federal powers are actually pretty limited.
Marijuana is a State’s Rights issue, border and customs are a Federal issue.

Its a win-win if California secedes. They go on their F’ing merry way, attracting other moonbats in the other 49 states that want to live in a space where their kind rules. We’re rid of their crap – thats a good thing !
