“…that’s when I lit him up”

An armed citizen, who was in Detroit’s E&S Carry Out Shrimp Shack during an alleged robbery, says he threw his wallet on the floor, and when the robbery suspect looked away to retrieve it, the citizen shot him.

    That’s old “drop the wallet” ploy is a trick I learned years ago in a police acadamy self-defense class. It’s been know to work pretty well under certain circumstances.

    However, if there are more than one armed perps your odds of succeeding drop considerably.
