Any landing you can walk away from…

  2. Geoff R says:

Oh,how embarrassing,do you think those scratches will polish out?

  3. Meat says:

Yep, a taildragger. There are only those who have ground looped and those who have yet to ground loop.

    • POd American says:

Doubt this was the result of a ground loop

      • M. Sage says:

Yeah, almost definitely not. You can see where the spinner dragged on the runway. Too rough with the brakes is where smart money is.

    • crazyeighter says:

Jusssst one of the many ways you can fuck up a takeoff/landing in a taildragger.

  4. Jack Daniels says:

Angel learning to fly now?…. LMAO….Sorry…. First thing that popped in my head when I saw this.

  5. POd American says:

Just a little too heavy on the brakes…look at the skidmark left by the prop spinner. Hard to tell, but looks like a sideways windsock in the distance.

  6. guy says:

So that’s a ‘wheels up’ landing?

  7. Don says:

A good landing is one you can walk away from.

An excellant landing is one where you can re-use the aircraft.

  8. flighterdoc says:

There are those that have, and those that will with taildraggers….

But I hope the pilot wasn’t attempting a downwind landing with significant crosswind component (judging from the windsock). If so, he chose….poorly,

  9. Dave says:

    Into the wind!

  10. Jared says:

If it’s a hospital aircraft in Gallup responding to a drunk driver accident, it was probably hit by a drunk driver.
