Looks like a CZ 452 Scout, a great rifle for youth. We bought one for our daughter when she outgrew her Cricket. She was quite pleased when she realized that working the bolt not only chambered another round but also cocked the firing pin.

My guess is a TOZ 78 / Winchester Wildcat, the rear sight looks really ‘paddlewheelish’ and the bolt handle body appears to be radiused. But I’m just guessin’.

I hope she is having a lot of fun, kids are short changed by our society nowadays. Anything gun related is strongly discouraged.

Had 2 of them, cut one down for my friends daughters to a smaller size on both ends. Wish I’d bought a dozen of them, outstanding accuracy too. Use mine for grouse in the Winds and Absarokas, last fall to take some sage grouse down on the Sweetwater. Don’t even shoot my Browning .22 auto anymore.

Hunters Safety Course live fire portion.

I did it in Grand Junction, Colorado a very long time ago.

Took my daughters to it in New Mexico, what seems a very short time ago.

Start ’em young, teach them responsible, then we win…
