Tennessee sues feds over refugee resettlement program

Tennessee became the first state in the nation on Monday to sue the federal government over refugee resettlement on the grounds of the 10th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution.

The lawsuit, filed on behalf of several state lawmakers Monday morning in the western district of Tennessee, alleges that the federal government has violated the 10th Amendment, which says the federal government possesses only the powers delegated to it by the U.S. Constitution and that all other powers are reserved for the states.

Now this is a movement I can fully support. As Nancy used to say….”Just say no.”

Could this be the first shot fired in the new war against tyranny? If so, I think that it is fitting that it happened in TN, the state that gave us many great heroes of days gone by. Alvin York, Andrew Jackson, Andrew Johnson, Eddie Arnold, and last but not least, Jasper Newton, better known to us as Jack Daniel, of the whiskey distillery fame. Seriously, this might be an important moment, and bears watching.

Not to mention Daniel Boone and Davey Crockett plus the most Volunteers in the Civil War than any other state. Tennessee has also voted that they will not accept any new gun regulations from the Federal Government because that is a states choice. We abolished all knife laws including the right to carry a switchblade. If you are 21 years of age and not a felon you can carry a pistol in your vehicle for protection and a shotgun or rifle loaded in your vehicle as long as there isn’t a round in the chamber. Isn’t It Great To Be A Tennessee Vol !!!

But we haven’t been able to get Constitutional Carry out of committee (despite a supermajority) for the last seven years because some different shitheel RINO manages to shoot it down every year.

The 10th Amendment has been ignored for years, I expect there will be a great deal effort put into ignoring it some more.

If your comment 'disappears', don't trip - it went to my trash folder and I will restore it when I moderate.
