15 Marines injured in training accident

Fifteen Marines were sent to hospitals with unspecified injuries after an accident this morning at Camp Pendleton involving an amphibious assault vehicle.

The incident happened just after 9:30 a.m. when the 1st Marine Division was involved in battalion training. The incident occurred on land.

    And when they’re discharged from the Corps with debilitating injuries the VA will tell them where to go and what to do with themselves along the way.

    AFAIK it was an antiquated tracked vehicle.

    Tracks are horrible, the engine overheats all the time, it dies, one sank at SOI west and the instructor died getting people out of it. Damn death traps.

    One kid almost ran us over with one too during training.
