That or it will bet plead down to jaywalking.

But “we gots to have more gun control laws.”

      It’s all according to plan.

yup, let’m go, means more tax dollars for law enforcement and more crime for your agendas. if he happens to get shot, it is the officers fault.

“Sheriff Dart reminds the public that the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty by the government in a court of law.” Obviously has been “Drinking the Kool-Aid”

Read Dart’s bio. The link is next to his picture.
He’s a social justice warrior. And a lawyer. And a former politician. And a Democrat.

For more about Dart, and Chicago crime / politics ( redundant, aren’t I ) generally, check out the blog “Second City Cop”, and for accurate statistics on Chicago crime, “Hey Jackass”

This article only scratches the surface of how bad Dart’s jail is.
The Chicago Public Defenders Office has stopped sending attorneys into the Jail because the Jail staff will not stop the inmates from masturbating in front of them (especially the females).
And there’s more, if you can stomach it.

Look at how the ( Kim Foxx ) Prosecutors office fails to prosecute offenders, pleading multiple felonies down to misdemeanors (eg. forcible rape, plus kidnap, plus robbery, plus aggravated battery w/ serious injury, with a prior felony history to simple battery).
Also, the categorizing the cause of death of a person found bound with wire to a chair in a warehouse with most of their bones broken, rotted flesh eaten by rats, as COD “unknown” with the explanation that with the body so deteriorated, they can not figure out just what killed them. (this means that the crime does not add to Chicago’s homicide rate).

Forget “broken windows” policing. Chicago also has a habit of settling “allegations of police brutality” for sums in excess of the amounts allowed by law, before any suits or charges are filed by or against anyone, and throwing street cops under the bus whenever convenient..

Note also that a consent decree now has the ACLU reviewing all Chicago records of police contact with residents (not just arrests).

Checked out Second City Cop. It’s good. Thanks for the tip.
I’ll be following it through Dart’s reelection and subsequent resignation.

And if he kills someone while on his own recognizance, it will be the evil gun’s fault.

There’s a Chicago cop blog called second City cop that often mentions what a disaster Dart is.

    Hi Kenny,
Too bad he wasn’t on the high seas and under those circumstances “caught” and brought before a tribunal (all it took was 3 officers) he would be found guilty and lead to the yard arm and Duly Hanged!!!! Then his miserable corpse would be dumped over board and fed to the sharks!! What Fun!!! AAAAAAAAARRRRRRGGGGHHH!!! Mate!!!

This is a perfect example of why I say we have so much crime, the cops get them and the courts let then go..
I have what equates to a rap sheet on the wall next to my bench in work of an asshole in Philly, a convicted felon caught 3 times with a gun pled down or removed 3 times, the 4th time he was caught with a gun he was charged with murder…

    The system is fucked up..

  9. Cool your jets there! Why is everyone being so mean? It’s not like Chicago has a problem with anyone actually getting hurt by an illegal firearm!

    OH, wait!

KENNER, La. — A man authorities describe as a habitual offender was arrested on suspicion of armed robbery five days after his early release from prison, Kenner police said.

Tyrone “Smokey” White, 24, was released on parole Nov. 2. He pleaded guilty in 2014 to four counts of simple burglary and was sentenced to 12 years in prison.

Kenner police said White robbed one man at gunpoint in the 600 block of 27th Street as they worked on a home. Police said White tried to rob a second man at the home but ran away when the he realized the man didn’t have any money.

Kenner police said witnesses told them White was in the neighborhood days earlier pulling on car door handles.
White was arrested Thursday morning. Authorities found a black bb gun and clothing that matched what was described by victims and witnesses in the armed robbery.

White was booked with armed robbery and attempted armed robbery.

Kenner police said White has a long criminal history in Jefferson Parish, including illegal carrying of weapons, criminal trespassing, resisting an officer, illegal possession of a stolen handgun, and 64 counts of simple burglary.
