The information drop today, which includes the text messages, reveals the bigger plot:

Always see people, including congresscritters, saying everything the IG has should be turned over to the committee. But, assuming a good faith investigation by the IG (yeah, right) turning everything over might just fuck up the IG investigation. Between potential leaks, and people tripping over each other, and potentially screwing up developing issues, it could mess up what the IG is working on. Plus, what’s to stop a congressional inquiry AFTER the IG issues his report? Also, potential that the demand is to force the IG to show his hand prematurely.

    Just sayin’.

For the life of me I cannot understand Meuller’s investigation into collusion with the Russians. Yes I understand the political jockeying, but the entire investigation (from what I understand) is based on the the so called dossier that was paid for/by the Clitorus (sp?) campaign. If they wanted to do the right thing they would have started by finding everyone involved in the creation of the dossier. If it turned out it was real, the investigation could proceed, but it is looking very likely it was faked and used to get illegal wiretapping. Annnndddd nothing will happen but more obfuscation from both sides of the aisle.
