Florida, baby…..

Three hunters caught a 17-foot, 132-pound Burmese python in the Florida Everglades in southern Miami-Dade, a record for the program aimed at curbing the proliferation of the non-native species, according to media reports.

The giant snake was caught Friday at Big Cypress National Preserve, according to NBC 6 Miami.

“That snake could pretty much kill any full-grown man,” said one of the hunters who caught the python, Jason Leon, to NBC 6. “If that snake was alive right now, it would probably take like three of us to be able to control that snake.”

I know rattlesnake is good fried, just not much meat per snake, so i wonder if python is as well.. If so you could have one hell of a snake fry, along with snake balls and snake on a stick to go with a giant pot of white beans and rice. Yummy.

Was thinking the same thing. Seems like I rem some nat geo thing saying the indigenous eat them.

Isnt there a bounty on them? They apparently need to raise it. That’s the way to get rid of shit like that.

Sorry but the only snake to be able to kill a full grown man is a reticulated python, who are known to exceed lengths of twenty feet and more than three hundred pounds. The longest retic on record is a bit more than twenty six feet long. Only anacondas, who can reach weights of five hundred pounds, are known to outweigh retics.
