Then this:

The Environmental Protection Agency, seen by President Trump as a bloated bureaucratic whale, is on schedule to fulfill his promise to reduce its staff nearly in half by the end of his first term mostly through retirements, not cuts, according to officials.

Less bloat in government is always welcome news.

Nice, now give me similar great news about the million other government agencies.

“below levels not seen since former President Reagan’s administration”

It’s about time. Given their history of over reach and regulation making outside of their lawful mandate, especially in trying to get CO2 declared a pollutant based on incredibly shaky science, they’ve needed to be spanked for a long time.

There shouldn’t be a need for this agency in the first place. Aren’t companies that pollute or are otherwise not operating in an environmentally conscious way effectively STEALING from The People? Why couldn’t some smart .gov lawyer (I know oxymoron) make that case in court?

      Remember the Animas River?

      • Nemo says:

Yes and as usual NONE of the responsible parties @ EPA are in jail or are even remotely having to endure prosecution for stupidity like the rest of us would be.

Good. Now ride that baby into the ground, and then beat that dead horse!

And they still haven’t taken responsibility for any of their failures.
