      Aye the modern stuff masquerading as “country music” isn’t much good. To put it politely. The older guys, the “outlaw country” guys were the real deal.

    I’ve got loads of Merle’s stuff, right from a 1968 recording of him playing live in Muskogie, to Merle’s last ever song … Merle Haggard was one of the greatest human beings ever to draw breath, and that’s all there is about it.
