    Some of the pictures of parents born before WWII in Japan and their children born after are amazing. 4’5″ parents, 6′ son.

    Soooo, maybe true on this one? Especially if dad’s short genes weren’t dominant expression genes.

    I went to high school with a kid who was 7′ 2″. His mom was barely five feet tall and his dad was maybe 5′ 6 at best.

    DNA is an exact science though.
    A paternity test would be illuminating.

    It should also be mandatory before a birth certificate is issued.

  6. Height is only part genetics; the rest is adequate animal protein along with the other nutrients.

    Looks like that Danny DeVito and Arnold Schwarzenegger movie where they were brothers in a cloning experiment.

    They do have the same smile and facial features, though pops does look a bit squashed.
    Mom could be his height. :-)

    I’m betting that grandpa was tall. Sometimes height skips a generation…or dad suffered something in childhood that prevented him reaching full height.
