I had to commute 45 miles each way in the NJ Turnpike from mile marker 18W to mile marker 9 when my company gave me an option after 20 years: trnsfer or get fired. I did that for 5 years in the mid-1980’s. Yea, it was a pain, but we didn’t have to deal with “it’s all about me” shithead Millennial assholes then. back-ups were rare even with an occasional wreck, but then again we didn’t have the turds texting, yapping and wacking off at 70mph.

Just a normal commute on 290 here in Houston. My office is 6 miles away from my house and it takes me 20-30 minutes to get there and the on the way home. Houston traffic is crazy, but NW Houston/290 traffic is insane.
