Inside Melbourne’s Suburban Militia

There’s a street in Melbourne’s outer south-eastern suburbs where weapons have become a way of life.

“Residents ‘round here are arming up,” one local, identified only as ‘Joe’, told A Current Affair.

“Baseball bats, nail guns, compressed air homemade machine guns that shoot paintball pallets. On this stretch of road, people are petrified.”

“There’s only one street in this suburb where the road is mostly still dirt, and that’s where we find a kind-of motley militia, disturbingly comfortable with taking the law into their own hands, even if it means putting innocent lives at risk.”

I weep for australia. it used to be that an australian could take on 10 of any other nationality and have an even chance of winning. 15 if she put down the baby and the beer first.

Are they petrified because they’re arming up or are they arming up because they’re petrified?

Someone needs to tell these people the meaning of the phrase “S-S-S” and the First Rule of Fight Club.

  5. OD says:

Nary a word on the ethnic – religious profile of the scum they’re arming against

we must be Politically Correct, Diversively Inclusive and Cultimulcheral !

Hell, I’ve been to Melbourne, and there’s a lot more weapons than… wait. Not Melbourne, FL, in Brevard County, where the Sheriff encourages people to arm up?

Oh, well, it’s Australia. They cut their own throat. Sucks to be them.
