When I was little, Gramps had New Holland Square-Baler, pulled by the J-D ‘B-Model’ Tractor, with a Hay Wagon behind. 2 Kids Crewed the Trailer, Stacking Bales. One afternoon, we saw a Rabbit jump out of one Windrow of Hay into the one the Baler was Raking Up; two Bales Later, the Rabbit was Mashed Flat just like That..

Seen snakes in a bale but never coyote. Have to be one of those cut and windrow. It could have been laying on the outside of the row and you would not see it till the end.

Under the heading of the only good coyote :-)

I wouldnt use that to bed horses-botulism. (They eat bedding.)

I had a small square bale with a fox in it last year. Well, part of a fox. Smelled it before I saw it.
