I had the same reaction as your title when I read the reports. Let’s see what happens now – keep in mind that the Twin Cities is(are?) so far left as to already be a socialist haven.

Remember how the police chief and the DA had tried so many different ideas of how to deal with this but none of those ideas held water? Well, these many months later they have a great plan. They’ll seat a heavily biased jury who will render a verdict. No hung jury here, no mistrial here. No double jeopardy. Every of those cretins will have solved their personal and professional dilemma and will walk away. Justice will not be served.

The Minneapolis DA had to confer with the San Francisco DA that tried Kate Steinle’s murderer first. Had to make sure they had it all down pat as to how to present the most half-assed prosecution possible.
