Yeh. I called my ex-wife the “Love of My Life” too. Gotta be careful what you name things.

I read somewhere that boat naming is a serious affair. One of the things to avoid
is naming a boat that angers the God Neptune or invites disaster. The boat
naming/renaming cerimony runs several pages. One has to appease the
Gods of the 4 Winds by spilling champaign into the water bow, stern and
both sides. Another shot into the water to appease Neptune. It is bad
luck to paint the new name without covering it with a tarp before the
cerimony. In renaming a boat, one has to remove all history of the old
name (including log books, maintenance records, etc.) On the maiden
voyage, one has to toss a plaque with the old name into Davy Jones
Locker. Of course, the remaining champaign is used to toast the
boat with all of the participants. Some people take this shit seriously!

Older wooden boat. probably a catastrophic split in the seams.
Boat plugs are another story. Killed my first digital camera that way.

I have a great digital Nikon. I’ve researched the manual and looked online but I can’t find where the boat plug is located on the camera. You must have one of the newer model.

Drain plugs have a purpose other than rattling around in the splash well.
