Gun Rights protests across the country

Gun rights supporters – many carrying rifles and ammunition – gathered at state capitols across the US Saturday to push back against efforts to pass stricter gun-control laws.

From Delaware to Wyoming, hundreds gathered at peaceful protests to listen to speakers who warned that any restrictions on gun ownership or use eventually could lead to a ban on gun ownership, which is guaranteed under the Second Amendment.

‘If you have a building and you take a brick out every so often, after a while you’re not going to have a building,’ said Westley Williams, who carried an AR-15 rifle as he joined about 100 people braving blustery weather in Cheyenne, Wyoming, for a pro-gun-rights rally in front of the state supreme court building.

How telling is it that this story comes to us by way of a organization originating outside of the USA? US media? Not a peep.

it would have helped if they let people know about this a little more than 3 days in advance. they e-mailed me about it on last thursday.

not everyone is on facebook, and some people need to plan a bit more to attend these sort of things.

The progs are bound and determined to make me a felon anyway they can with this gun business. Then they’ll send their dogs out for me and those like me. In Delaware we don’t have country sharifs to protect us from the state and federal dogs. It’s fucking sad but the state holds all the power.

Had around 400 in Albany, NY. Nice supervision by a local militia. Another couple thousand would have been nice though.

If your comment 'disappears', don't trip - it went to my trash folder and I will restore it when I moderate.
