Protecting and Serving

Fucking cops in Modesto would pull this shit all the time, but they’d wait until there’s was a crowd of cars coming off a stop light, then the cop would step one foot off the curb when you were about 20 feet away and you’d get a ticket for failing to yield for a pedestrian. It didn’t matter if there was a car riding your ass that was going to rear end you or not.
Anything to fill the City coffers…..

Using a police decoy as the pedestrian sounds like entrapment by definition to me.

Fuck that. no light, no walk if cars are coming. That simple. Here in North Georgia these new “pedestrian crossing” areas with the signs that you must stop when people are there are a bunch of bullshit. It’s created so many fender benders, delays, back ups etc. If the local government folks were smart (ha, ha, what was I thinking). They’d find a central crossing area and put in a light, or a tunnel, or a bridge. But not in Florida. We know how they do pedestrian bridges. And it’s not pretty.

Douche baggery at its finest from the biggest criminal gang in America.

Although I did this shit sometimes in Hawaii. Asshat drivers, usually boot-tenants and silver bars come flying down the roads on MCBH and would gas it right on up to the cross walk if you were getting near the crosswalk or were in the middle of the road at the time. Eventually I got sick of their antics and started stepping out into the road while they were coming up on it. It is the state law that they stop and Hawaii is very anal about enforcing their state laws on the issue. Since I was a grunt and already hated just about everything about my life at the time,

It was a game of hit me and get promptly fleeced, as well as lose your commission as an officer.

i remember back in the day, a friends dad who was a traffic officer told his son, my friend never to use a crosswalk. jaywalk because your gonna be looking for cars. people who use crosswalks become complacent and painted lines do not stop cars.

If your comment 'disappears', don't trip - it went to my trash folder and I will restore it when I moderate.
