NRA sues New York governor

(CNN/Meredith) — The National Rifle Association filed a lawsuit Friday against New York’s governor and a state agency, accusing them of coercing banks and insurance companies to withhold services to the gun lobbying group.

The lawsuit, filed in US District Court for Northern New York, came days after the New York State Department of Financial Services (DFS) fined several insurance companies hundreds of thousands of dollars for participating in an NRA-backed liability insurance program for gun owners.

The state also also secured agreements from those companies not to offer such insurance again.

In its lawsuit, the NRA alleges that this — and other actions — showed Gov. Andrew Cuomo and the state DFS were unconstitutionally trying to force companies to disassociate from the lobby group.

And the lawfare continues. What you wanna bet at least half of Cuomo’s bodyguard detail are NRA members?

Maybe the NRA can contact them NRA bodyguards and if the price is right…..HEH!

Fortunately, as has been proven by all the assassins and school shooters, the only ones responsible for going ‘off range’ have been Democrats.

Now, instead of whacking Cuomo, they snuck NRA stickers all over his world, in his bathroom, in his car, in his office, maybe replace his bedding with NRA branded stuff…

Not lethal, but totally annoying. Kind of like Cuomo himself.

      Bingo bango bongo.
      Spot on.
NY’s judiciary and AG are too busy ‘Getting Trump!’ to do something which doesn’t further that goal.

Allowing the state to attack a private entity gives them permission to attack anyone they choose. If people want to avoid giving the NRA business, that is their right. Doing it with government assistance – nope Nope NOPE !!
