At least they have the sense not to lay the fridge down and keep it upright

    • Chet says:

Its ok to lay a reefer down on its side. Or on it’s back in it does NOT have coild on the back. MOF I have two that need to be laid over and the dust bunnies cleaned out from the bottom works.
To not damage the equipment, you must stand it back up and allow some time for the Freon to get itself all in rightful order and after a hour or so, then plug it back in and check to be sure it gets cold.

      • Bacon says:

One hour is not sufficient. Minimum two hours, most brands recommend somewhere between 4 to 8 hours, depending on the system. Plugging it in sooner can shorten the life of the equipment.
