And in tonight’s Friday Florida News…..

DAVIE, Fla. – An arm was found inside an alligator that was caught in a Davie lake, sources told Local 10 News.

The body part is believed to be that of a missing woman who disappeared while walking her dogs at the Silver Lakes Rotary Nature Park.

Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission spokesman Rob Klepper said evidence from the necropsy indicates that the woman was bitten by the 12-foot, 6-inch gator.

Looks like Wally Gator hasn’t signed up to be a vegan yet.

The first time I lived in Florida the natives told me all about the jeezly gators. The damn things would show up in your back yard, eat your dog, your cat, your kids… okay, that last might be a saving grace. The gators would also eat your ex-, if you could get her close enough to the gator’s mouth.

The gators aren’t the only things you have to worry about down there. I got so I wouldn’t go anywhere without a decent caliber rifle along with me, and I wasn’t the only one. Snakes, rabid critters of all kinds… you can’t be just walking around in Florida and expect that you aren’t a part of the food chain.
