Dancing FBI agent charged with felony assault

DENVER – An FBI agent who’s accused of inadvertently shooting a bystander at a Denver bar earlier this month has turned himself in and has been formally charged with second-degree assault.

Records show Chase Bishop, 29, was booked into the downtown Denver jail on Tuesday. He’d originally been held on the charge, but was formally charged Tuesday with the single assault count, which is a fourth-degree felony.

It strikes me that anyone without a badge would receive a wee bit higher charges.

He should have been using a Dragon Leatherworks holster

Not exactly the poster child for gun safety we would expect of an FBI “Special Agent”.

Will his gun “rights” be ended?

At least he was charged. Occasionally an animal who is more equal than others and is low enough down in the food chain gets charged to mollify the peasants.

If it wasn’t on utube, not a fucking word would have been said. He might have ended up in Fargo for six months.

  7. Me says:

Strange that an FBI agent is charged so quick but cops do this shit and kill people all the fucking time and it takes months if not years to announce any charges.

    I can’t believe it.

Ill wait to decide if this is for real or just head games for the masses!

The guy who got shot will probably have his life turned inside out by the feds, now.

I would like more details , was Special Agent Butterfingers intoxicated or impaired in any way ? I would think a guy in his mid 40’s in a night club , on the dance floor , doing BACK FLIPS and dropping his GUN and SHOOTING someone just might have had a couple too many of something…(but not brains)
