Yeah, good luck with that

An initiative that would reverse a law that allows immigrants residing in California illegally to obtain driver’s licenses has been cleared to begin gathering signatures for the 2020 ballot.

The proposal also seeks to eliminate the current “sanctuary state” law and end automatic voter registration practices in California. Don Rosenberg, the main proponent of the proposal and a staunch opponent of illegal immigration, said he believes the plan will increase public safety, reduce voter fraud and prevent traffic fatalities.

The new ploy on the part of the rulers is just to slow the verification process. There is a cut off date for petitions to make the ballot and as we just saw with the gas tax rollback petition, they can nullify it by just not verifying the signatures.

Given the chance to vote on it I think the majority of Californians would vote YES! The promoters of this intend on collecting 600k sigs so they’ll be well over the minimum even with “take-aways”.

Just a matter of time before escaped felons will be eligible for California drivers’ licenses. I mean, after you’ve been inside for ten years, licenses expire.

Not very different than giving drivers’ licenses to illegal immigrants.

If the petition drive and the vote succeed, the prog’s in will just continue to ignore the will of the people. It’s going to take an USSJC ruling to overturn prog’s laws.
