District Judge Issues Decision on 3D Guns, Ignores Executive Power & First Amendment

Arizona -(Ammoland.com)- – Judge Robert S. Lasnik, United States District Judge of the Western District of Washington, at Seattle, issued a permanent injunction against the Trump Administration State Department.

The injunction is to prevent the State Department from implementing a court settlement with Defense Distributed, allowing them to exercise their First Amendment rights.

The permanent injunction was issued on the 27th of August, 2018, in Seattle, Washington State. The temporary restraining order had been issued on 31 July. Judge Lasnik has taken the power of deciding what may or may not be lawful, based on the principle of potential harm. Potential, or irreparable harm, is almost never used in First Amendment cases. It is a form of prior restraint.

The best part of this story is that he judge is an imbecille. The files have been on the internet, on sites other than Defense Distributed, since before the original filing by the DoJ.

The fact that this judge, and the state AG’s don’t recognize this just shows their ignorance.

Those files have been downloaded millions and millions of times. Way to shut the barn door after the entire herd of cows escapes.

Douchebag Judge Lasnik said he didn’t want to tangle in First Amenment issues, so he had to allow distribution by physical means. Cody is selling the files on flash drives if anyone cares.

Wonder how long it will take em to outlaw “Bridgeports”, or any reasonable knockoffs. Don’t need no stinking 3-D printer or plans, can make anything I need, traceable, or not… Add a crock pot and make stick go bang….. regulate that mr. court jester ! ! ! Something about the mother of necessity in there somewhere…

I have the files, and I’ll gladly distribute them to anyone who wants them.

I’d like to know how a lowly District Court judge can issue a nationwide, permanent injunction. Seems to be WAY the fuck beyond his power, and I look forward to Justice Kavanaugh helping to reverse this absurd and illegal (violates both the 1st and 2nd Amendments) decision.

But in the meantime, tens of thousands of people per month will make their own guns from 80% lowers, with no registration, and perhaps 100,000 – 200,000 people who bought guns on 4473s since 1968 will die each year, leaving their firearms to their heirs COMPLETELY FREE OF PAPERWORK.

Fuck this judge, and fuck all of the gun control tyrant-wannabees!
