    Ugly!
    Dumbasses.

  2. B says:

Which is why SMART road racers only race late at night.

Or on the interstates, or other divided highways.

    Just sayin’.

I feel like I lost a few IQ points just watching that vid. I hope like hell nobody was crippled after that show of stupidity.

    • Roland says:

Unfortunately the driver died. I mean.. Not one of the racer guys. Both survived and are now in jail. This happened in Slovakia. And the racers were polish drivers.

I hate assholes. I’ve done my share of street racing as a young man (idiot)). Usually on a straight stretch that was rarely traveled. Muscle cars. 340 A body Mopar A body. Then I discovered the “Strip”. I hope the right people died in this wreck. Doesn’t look that way.

  5. Will says:

What makes that clip worse is it looked like the idiot was attempting a shoulder pass on the left when he had the right lane open. Tap the brakes, move right, don’t kill anyone. Morons.

Yah, guess you could say it was the cock-bite in the Cayenne Turbo, not giving the 458 a right to dodge right. Fly Yellow slowed, hadn’t it been plowed in the ass by the taller vehicle, both could’ve avoided this, which the Cayenne was the head-on vehicle. 458 tagged the vehicle behind.

No, none of this crap belongs on public roads.

My bad in ’95 was scooting a 550 Spyder underneath a semi trailer on I-696 going to a Wednesday night car show in Northville, all because a ’67 427 Corvette ragtop pissed me off. Yep, saw the open lane: by-bye. Never again.

God smiled on me that day.

I guess iwas ’68, but two GI’s were returning to Ft. Bliss after an evening of drinking in Juarez. Tthey were in a MG ragtop, and the driver wennt under a semi tanker trailer. They took out one of the valves, releasing the contents of the tanker. Unfortunately for them, the trucker was hauling acid. Thereee wasn’t anything left of them, and not much left of the car. There was a large bleached out spot on the highway, though.

  7. Curtis says:

You drive fine, you drive like a Sully and then this comes at you and there is no best way out. There is no way out because stupid.

  8. Aesop says:

Well, no, he wasn’t dead right after the accident, officer. But after I saw what happened to the family in the wagon, and then got my tire iron to extricate the driver who caused this, he may have experienced some fatal trauma after I vigorously tried to extricate him from his vehicle. Maybe I should have unbuckled his seatbelt before I started prying his head out of his car…

I always do the posted speed limit and I’m proud of it. But I bet most of the commenters who call the racers “assholes” on this thread hate me.

    • crazyeighter says:

In my dotage, I’ve started doing the same thing. Leave early enough not to have to be anxious about arriving time.

Besides, I’ve gotten too cranky to carry on roadside conversations with these bandits who are only interested in generating revenue and hanging the kidnapping of the Lindbergh baby on me.

  10. Roy says:

I can’t speak for anyone but myself, but I don’t hate you, BSB.

If you’re doing the speed limit and I’m stuck behind you, well, that’s just the way it is. I’ll tip my hat as I go around you – safely – on the next long straight.

But these guys really were assholes. Those moron’s endangered everyone else on that highway for what? Thrills? I hope all of those responsible – that survived anyway – served time in jail.

  11. CC says:

Hope there’s a long sentence for vehicular homicide wherever that is.

If your comment 'disappears', don't trip - it went to my trash folder and I will restore it when I moderate.
