Should’ve bought them on the street like everybody else

A registered pharmacist was charged with second-degree robbery after he allegedly stole narcotics from a CVS pharmacy in Danville while brandishing a gun and wearing a blue surgical mask, officials said Thursday.

Jonathan Szkotak was arrested April 3 after he approached a pharmacy counter with a firearm and stole Clonazepam and Buprenorphine, according to the Contra Costa County district attorney’s office. The pharmacy reported stolen 17 Clonazepam tablets, a drug used to treat seizures and panic disorders, and 57 tablets of Buprenorphine, an opioid that treats pain and addiction to narcotics.

The 1st of those two is an anti-epilepsy drug. The thing is there has been a major shortage lately, so much so that they no longer let you buy 3 months worth at a time, now max 2 months at a time.

Play nice.
