Alaska problems

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) — A moose walked into the lobby of Wise Physical Therapy in Anchorage Monday for a few minutes of warmth and to graze on some fresh greens. The office is on the campus of Alaska Regional Hospital.

Hospital spokesperson Kjerstin Lastufka says the moose gained entry to the building after an automatic door got stuck open because of the cold.

We leave the pumpkins from Halloween out for the moose. They come right up on the porch to eat them.

Heh, never a dull moment up here. The moose come down into town during winter, easier forage here. Had one get hit on the highway a few days ago about a mile from me.

The hospital in So. Lake Tahoe had a bear wander into the lobby not too long ago and the Truckee, Ca. CHP office had a bear wander in just a few weeks ago. Them auto door openers can lead to surprises from time to time.
