Fla. governor to suspend sheriff who was in charge during Parkland shooting response

Gov. Ron DeSantis has been slowly spelling out Broward Sheriff Scott Israel’s fate all week, indicating in a series of press gaggles that he was likely considering the embattled politician’s removal and vetting replacements.

By Wednesday, Florida’s new governor had made it to S-U-S-P. On Thursday, the E-N-D was nigh.

    As a Broward county resident, it is my fervent hope the the door will hit him in the ass on his way out. He is disrespected by his officers and has destroyed morale and effectiveness. He is only loved by his progressive, libtard friends in the Broward government.

    The efforts of one common sense governor in suspending this asshole sheriff has been negated by the fact that 65% of the Sunshine state’s voting (dead, alive and multiple times) population approved an amendment that will automatically restore voting rights to more than 1 million felons in the state.
