Food Stamp Riots have been postponed

Food stamp recipients are scheduled to receive February disbursements before the end of this month and will have to budget their allotment as the federal program is not currently funded because of the partial government shutdown.

Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program benefits for February will be disbursed between January 16th and 20th, according to information from Hardin County Job and Family Services.

so, about mid-february…expect to see people with full carts of food running out the front door of the walmart without paying. that’ll be about the time the food coma wears off from the double hit of money they’re getting.

Some are gonna eat high on the hog in January, the riots are scheduled for the end of February.

Put the malt liquor and crack pipe down and get a job

    • MT says:

Even if it’s just pushing a broom and filling garbage cans. Do something for us. We’re paying for your benefits, lazy bastards.

    • Mike_C says:

Nah. All the malt likker and crack you want (for free like everything else you get in life) AFTER you get a vasectomy or tubal ligation — depending on your plumbing.

Sobriety and work sound good, until you consider that the “work” we’d actually get is almost certainly going to be done so poorly that actually generates more problems. And life expectancy is much shorter with alcohol and drug abuse. The expression feature, not bug comes to mind.

Two of the bigger factories here have signs up that they’re hiring. Problem is most of the local junkies can’t pass an initial drug test. But they can get “assistance” from ODJFS. Or the mudsharks have to have EBT for their spawn & can’t work.

Way back when there was a real America, my wife’s father’s union went on strike for a couple of months or so. The local grocery store carried the striking families. Bills were paid when the strike was settled. Not altogether uncommon when towns were smaller and everybody knew everybody.

I was hearing a .GOV worker whine on the radio this am, a single mom with 6 kids and needed food stamps to help. I am thinking WTF is she doing being single with 6 kids and on assistance, she should be getting at least 12-18 hundred a month in child support if not closer to several grand. And yes, probably GTR.

  6. Handy Deplorable says:

    Count em up
    Zero fucks given.

  7. millerized says:

Give it a week and we’ll be hearing about all the starving families.

    • MT says:

“Starving families” = 20-year old single women with four children, all by different baby-daddys.

Freedom and responsibility are flip sides of the same coin. When did we stop teaching that at home?

      • Heathen says:

There wasn’t anyone at home to teach them responsibility. Too many of them are the second or third generation of that demographic.

“It’s all they learned from Momma & MeMaw.”

  8. bob says:

please, please, please keep it closed for months. it will be hilarious watching people who have never earned anything screaming about ” I want my free food “.

  9. Winston Smith says:

This is a major disappointment to me. Now I have to wait another couple of weeks to start watching my expected entertainment.

  10. Sanders says:

Giving them an extra month’s food stamp money? Expecting them to be able to budget that money? Haww!!! hawww!!!!

Giving extra money to the most irresponsible segment of society will not turn out the way someone is thinking.

    Party on dudes!!!
