As the government shutdown enters week five, debris, trash, and snow are piling up at national parks across the country as the bureaucrats who get paid to maintain them stay home. Luckily, however, volunteers from all walks of life have stepped up to fill their shoes and they’ve been doing a fantastic job—that is, when the government isn’t kicking them out.
A group of libertarians in Tennessee has been volunteering at national parks to do the bureaucrats’ jobs and they were doing it successfully, until this week.
As the volunteers with the Libertarian Party of Tennessee Delta Region began cleaning up Shiloh National Military Park over the weekend, they were quickly approached by Park Rangers who demanded they leave the property.

These folks should publish the names and addresses of these Feral assholes so that the deplorables could turn their personal property into a community dump site. I’m sure that everyone has some unused trash just laying around.
Make it a test case.
Pelosi-ites and Obama-ites wanting to make it “hurt.” They have to show the world how much we need them to keep our parks clean and safe. They are in danger of losing their jobs permanently, so they strike out against the citizenry. They have to keep up the ruse. PATHETIC Lil Govt. LICE.
You are exactly right G.W. 26 days and we are making it pretty good so far. It makes one wonder how many of these “non-essential” .gov workers are really non-essential.
Pathetic behavior from our public “Servants”. Expected nothing less from the losers.
Trump will get the blame for this too. BTY, if Ranger Joe isn’t being paid why is he trying to disrupt honest people from doing honest work, when he should be raving and railing against Trump on a picket line?
I’m wondering if Ranger Joe was exceeding his aw-thora-TIE by showing up in uniform and ordering the people out if he was not supposed to be on duty. And if he WAS on duty, why wasn’t he picking up the trash himself?
I smell Obama-era hire here.
“I smell Obama-era hire here” That was my thought, just like during the Obama era shutdown when they denied access to the Vietnam memorial.
I’m sort of wondering what the uniformed orc ranger would have done if the volunteers had told him to f**k off. What’s he going to do? Call Nancy?
Remember how Obama’s gang had barricades and signs all ready to go on day one? And how the park rangers were so quick to kick people out who dared to show up on PUBLIC property? Those park rangers are federal employees, mostly democrats, and they support the shutdown knowing full well they’ll get paid. It’s just their opportunity to boss people around and they aren’t gonna let a good crisis go to waste. Operatives of the Deep State doing what they do best.
I remember the sonsabitches keeping the WWII vets away from their memorial.
“Come back next year.”
A few rotating LEOs are listed as “essential”. They wouldn’t pick up a candy wrapper, but you can bet he maximizes overtime for the pay period…
This is a good place to insert “Oi mate, Loiscense?” meme

Pretty soon, libertarians and other civic minded types will have to clean parks on the sly by infiltrating. SAD!
After the government workers have not worked for 30 days, they can be furloughed. Maybe the wall is just a ruse to trim the dead wood in the fiddle gummint.
The .gov parasites can’t allow the citizenry to demonstrate that we don’t need to them. It’s the same reason that feeding poor people without .gov pemission gets you in hot water. Those in power do NOT want us to believe we can get by without them. Its a power play pure and simple.
Always said a trashy park during a shutdown was a reflection of the locals and lack of volunteers. Now, I’m eating my hat. More useless, unnecessary government trying to pass its self off as being needed.
Here’s how it ends well:

Just another Brown Shirt following orders…. yeah that worked in the past didn’t it.
