Even the air you breathe is raaacist

The air that Americans breathe isn’t equal.

Blacks and Hispanics disproportionately breathe air that’s been polluted by non-Hispanic whites, according to a study. This new research quantifies for the first time the racial gap between who causes air pollution – and who breathes it.

“Pollution is disproportionately caused by whites, but disproportionately inhaled by black and Hispanic minorities,” the study said.

Well, I’ll be. First they appropriate our houses and electricity and running water and sewer systems. And roads, radio, TV, fast food, welfare, you name it.

Now they are appropriating our air pollution?

I get it, “white man bad, kill whitey”.

If ever a study screamed “results first-data second” it’s this one.

An alternative take is that it is less expensive to live in places that are less desirable so people with less money will gravitate to those areas. Of course that’s been the case since “the other side of the tracks” was down wind from steam locomotives so it doesn’t warrant a splashy headline.

Or downwind from the tannery, or downwind from the vats where they fermented the shellfish to make the purple dye. . .
