California Driver Accelerated Into Pedestrians

SUNNYVALE (KPIX 5) – The FBI was assisting Sunnyvale police Wednesday in investigating a driver who allegedly intentionally slammed his vehicle into eight people on a Sunnyvale street, severely injuring several of them.

In an email to KPIX 5 early Wednesday, the FBI said it was “assessing the situation to determine federal involvement. Should it be determined that a federal crime was committed, we will become more involved.”

My first thought when the cops were so quick to proclaim it as domestic terrorism is that the guy must be white, but a quick check on FB for Isaiah Peoples of Sunnyvale shows a black guy.

People’s brother, Josh, told KPIX 5 in an interview that his brother was a military vet, who served in Afghanistan and suffers from PTSD.

He said when Isaiah is not taking his medication, he can often be seen rocking back-and-forth in a corner or lapses into a hyper religious state where he sings Christian songs out loud.

Ah, so, Grasshoppah, Blackness is ordinarily a winning hand [1] but the combination of “crazy vet” and “hyper-religious Christian” together outweigh mere Blackness. Welcome to Intersectionality.

[1] Blackness is trumped (you’ll pardon the expression) by Muslim-ness in supposed victimhood. And Muslim-ness is itself trumped by only one thing, but I’m sure I haven’t noticed, because Hate Crime.

They are exploiting the Christian angle. His brother said that when he goes off his meds he gets religious.

It’s “Domestic Terrorism” only because he doesn’t pray towards Mecca 5 times a day.

His fb page is a bit of a mixed bag. Says he lived – not served – in the Ba’quba District of Iraq
though. The difference bespeaks a consonance with the locale. DS served in the sandbox several times. Never, not once, did he say he “lived” there.

This is outrageous. If the guy is so deeply impacted by PTSD (he may indeed, or he may have been a stateside clerk for all I know) why in blazes does he still drive? Out of compassion for your fellow man, if a person has a serious affliction like this… why have that on your conscience?
