Nothing wrong with good stone. Flint or otherwise.

Obsidian weapons are undeniably vicious against unarmored opponents. Good obsidian will chip on a molecular line and scalpels made from it are sharper than steel equivalents. The draw back is the obvious though, it can chip and and break and simply isn’t as durable as steel. Flint, stone, and even shark tooth swords are all quite lethal. People used because it was both what was available and it was effective.

One of these days I’ll have the extra coin to get myself a beautiful hand made wood bow so I can get my tribal on.

I have been making my own stone tools for a few years now. It is a LOT of fun and they really do work.
