There’s times when I felt like taking a potshot at my dentist

(WTKR/CNN/Meredith) — A Virginia dentist is being remembered as caring and well-liked by friends, family and patients.

Dr. Bill Trolenberg had just walked out of his dental office when someone shot and killed him in the parking lot.

Sounds like a root canal gone bad. That’ll make anybody do crazy shit.

    Don’t shoot the dentist!

Going to the dentist is one of the few pleasures I have at this age. But then, every time I go he tells me I have excellent teeth, do a great job on keeping them clean and will probably have them when I turn 80 – another 10 years, at least.

Where else can I go and have someone tell me I’m doing a good job?
Home to the wife – not hardly.
To work – my one claim to fame is I am the only one willing to do this job.
To church – the pastor and I don’t really get along; I only go for the friends I’ve know for 40 years.
The doctor – VA doc hardly goes out of his way to look me over, prod and push on me and tell me he’ll see me next time.

Nope, the dentist is the only place where everyone smiles when I come in, tells me to sit back, put my feet up and relax. The even offer headphones playing my choice of music if I want.
