The F150 with the front bumper turned down rear ended somebody. The bumper and both shock absorber mounts will need to be replaced. Back in ’04 it was $1100.

#24 – That chair is a large ferrous object stuck in a high-field MRI magnet with a person stuck between it and the magnet. This is a very dangerous situation because the field strength of that magnet is strong enough to crush someone between that chair and the magnet. The person taking the photo should have hit the emergency run-down (quench button) before even thinking of taking a photograph. (Had the button already been pushed, that chair would have been on the floor rather than up in the bore.)

interesting that those chairs are usually made from aluminium. It must have just been the nutts :)
Saying that I did hear of an incident at a hospital where a guy had a pocket knife in his posket and it ended up in his jaw.

Yeah, I’ll remember that. I go for my MRI Monday. Quench button, quench button, quench button.

#5 – Last Summer, there was a ‘road rage’ incident where a Cement Truck cut someone off…
At the next stoplight, the driver of the car ran up and Reversed the Valve that controls the Drum Rotation, and when the Truck drove off, it started Emptying its Load down the Street. Big Ticket and Cost of the Highway Department to scrape it up to the Cement Co.

  5. JC says:

I hope the guy on the motorcycle saw numbnuts with the mustang coming and hopped of. :/

  6. Putz says:

Yup, Hit the quench button on the MRI…Costs somewhere in the neighborhood of $100,000 to do so, but that jackass in the chair probably isn’t coming out any other way…and he and the idiot taking the picture probably are not going to be employed after the quench.

I remember reading about an incident several years ago in which a cop that was to undergo an MRI snuck his pistola into the room because Only One. The MRI machine did it’s thing and pulled said pistola out of hiding and smacked the machine hard enough to result in a negligent discharge.

  7. Dan says:

I’m going to venture a guess and say that image with the MRI was POSED on a machine that was
did not have an active field.
