‘Coup’ Concerns Suddenly Don’t Seem So Far-fetched

For most of the last three years, Donald Trump’s critics have scoffed at supposed “conspiracy theories” that claimed a “deep state” of bureaucrats were aborting the Trump presidency. We have been told the word “coup” is hyperbole that reveals the paranoid minds of Trump supporters.

Yet oddly, many people brag that they are proud members of a deep state and occasionally boast about the idea of a coup.

Recently, former acting CIA chief John McLaughlin proclaimed in a public forum, “Thank God for the deep state.” Former CIA director John Brennan agreed and praised the “deep state people” for their opposition to Trump.

The best piece so far on how career diplomatists forgot what their job is and who they work for.

Remember the Dems wanted to impeach Trump the minute he was inaugurated. No better proof of a coup de ‘tat than that, and that means all these actors are TRAITORS.
The penalty is hiring or firing squad.
Personally, I’d like to see the serious commencement of plans in that direction.

Agree with description of Deep State as traitor. Like the Chief Executive or not, he/she is the duly elected and require people who support their policies. Until the CE leaves the office, its his way or quit.

Once “it” is over I vote for beheadings. Mount the heads on pikes at the entrance of the DNC. Let the glistening skulls be a warning to the next ten generations of Democrats.

Town Hall huh? I guess we’re all tin hat wear conspiracy theorist now. OR, so we weren’t wrong. Welcome to the party. Things are going to get much worse.

I think I’m just one of a hell of a lot of people who are sick to death of hearing that these traitors STILL have their jobs in the White House/Pentagon/etc, top secret clearances, etc. Why the fk are they still there?

The “deep state” has been outing themselves overtly since the 2016 election with the “resistance” and other treasonous Trump agenda limitations imposed by Obama holdovers and other entrenched bureaucrats.

IMHO, EVERY President should be allowed to clean house and install his own people in the White House and at the top and mid-levels of the FBI, CIA NSC, NSA and the State Department, including EVERY ambassador to every country where an embassy is maintained.

In addition, EVERYONE dismissed as part of an administration turn over should have their security clearance REVOKED and anyone caught leaking to these FORMER officials should be jailed incommunicado, tried and shot or hanged publicly for treason.

Mr Vinton, oh pardon me, Lt. Colonel Vinton is a prime example of the type of sniveling bureaucrat that should NEVER be retained in an administration turnover.

Fast forward to January, 2021 when Donald J. Trump is sworn in again, this time as a result of an unprecedented landslide election, bringing untold numbers of like minded governors into office and Nancy is shown the door, along with all the committee chairmanships the d-rats have abused for almost three years.

Next morning after the inauguration, the First Twitterer’s first Twitter of the new term: “Inasmuch as my first term was obstructed each and every day I claim a mulligan and therefore will allow myself an extra term of four years, should the citizens elect me again in 2024. If you fu*kers don’t like it then move to Venezuela by the first of next month. MAGA, one executive order at a time”.

12-9 the FISA shit is made public. 12-11 Congressional hearings start. Hmm, 9-11. We need to see some Perp walks.

    • Bad_Brad says:

There are days that I find myself praying for a military coup to restore this country. Seriously- Literally a coup.

Tar and feathers needs to come back into vogue.

  9. ChuckN says:

I think the real problem that the bureaucrats and coup plotters are worried about is not President Trump; Horowitz, Dunham or even the growing threat of civil war. No I think they’re simply terrified that everyone is finally coming to the conclusion that even now the only possible way to restore any public confidence in certain government agencies (or the courts) is for public trials and a whole lot of rope. Seriously, knowing just what we know now, I don’t think people are going to be satisfied with 2-3 underlings going to court while lawyers & judges play games. Additionally, if enough take the threat of civil war seriously enough they make realize that cleaning out DC and making examples may prevent the carnage a full or protracted Balkan-esque war would produce.
