I went to JEB Stuart high school back in the 60’s, northern Virginia close to DC. I’m sure the name has been changed. Interesting video, didn’t know all that about the General.

I lived on the Cross Keys Battle Field outside Harrisonburg Va. in the Shenandoah for about ten years. I traveled to a lot of sites. Old earth works long forgotten. My son in law a direct decedent of the commander that defeated the North in Waynesboro. Drove em back across the bridge he did. I’ve visited so many places Bull Run, Winchester, New Market and the list goes on. I used to find remnants when they plowed the corn fields around my house. Even found a dump once full of old medicine bottles. Stonewall was J.E.B. Stewart was incredible.

My job frequently sends me to a processing center at Ft. Bliss in El Paso, Texas. It’s on Jeb Stuart Rd. Pretty cool to know the history. Thanks for posting.

Fine example of how to die.

Play nice.
