I’ve been listening to a lot more “country” since we moved here. The local radio station has several volunteer DJ’s that play bluegrass and “barn dance” music during the week. We’ve got a couple of “New Country” stations, along with some that are pretty hard-core “Old Country”.

Really good selection of music. Far better than we had in SoCal. And anytime I get “homesick”, I can listen to 92.9, KPAW. They’re damn near a clone of KLOS in L.A……

Reminds me of my dad. He loved it on tv… Grand Ole Opry, Laugh In, The Gong Show and Dean Martin. <3

You know, I’m only 35, but so many memories are tied to a lot of these songs and this music because of many many fishing trips listening to this with my dad and grandfather. I still mostly listen to this stuff and classic rock. Today’s music is a sad distortion of skill and talent. These folks had incredible talent and voices and ZERO help from auto-tune and post production and all the technology that lets half-talent hacks make “music” because they’re pretty.
