Your Thursday Morning Florida Report

BRADENTON, Fla. (WWSB) – A convicted felon in Manatee County is now facing charges over homemade explosives deputies say they found in his home on the 2500 block of 32nd Avenue East.

Around 1:45pm on Tuesday, January 28, deputies were called to 52-year-old James Hoskins Jr.’s home after the sheriff’s office says he made threats about his roommate to an employee at a substance abuse and mental health facility.

Deputies spoke with Hoskins, who say he admitted having materials necessary to make small rocket motors in the home and allowed them to view his self-proclaimed powder room.

So? It’s not the Government’s place to tell anyone they can’t mess around with explosives.

I will give Gov a nod about some storage issues and dealing with hazardous chemicals, but the rules should be ‘If you fuck up, you should only fuck up yourself, no fucking up innocent people because you’re a fuckup who fucked up.’

BATFE – Should spend their times telling people how not to do things wrong. Up to and including armed agents breaking in to your house to tell you how you’re not cleaning your guns right and not storing your explosives safely and how your still is producing bad alcohol and how to fix it.

I’m joking about the breaking in part. Not joking about BATFE agents should be helping you.

Play nice.
