Nevada Governor Signs Emergency Order Banning Prescriptions of Hydroxychloroquine For Treatment of Coronavirus…

This is almost unbelievable, if it wasn’t for the fact the governor is a democrat. Hopefully voters are paying close attention to this stuff and will remember in November. All of these authoritarian tendencies are being triggered by the opportunity known as COVID-19.

The DEMOCRAT governor of Nevada has signed an executive order banning the use of hydroxychloroquine as a medical treatment for those suffering from the coronavirus.

I wonder if Trump came out against guns, the Democrats would vote to make all residents buy a machine gun and enough ammo for their homes.

  2. Hadenoughalready says:

I don’t see “Dr.” before or any alphabets after his name. WHAT are HIS qualifications to make this “life or death” decision???
First person to die from CoVid-19, because they were precluded from using the drug in question, should sue the living shit out of him and anyone who had a hand in this tragic decision.

  3. Putz says:

I think they have a legitimate concern of preserving the drugs for what they were intended…I mean after all…Nevada reports consistently 6 to 8 cases of malaria every year. Maybe the governor thinks they will have a run on Malaria this year…

    • TwoDogs says:

It’s also used to treat lupus, and people who are on it for that are on it for life.

    • (((Doc B))) says:

      Congratulations Nevada,

You have a diversity hire as your head of the health system. That guy has never practiced medicine outside of a country where they have to give classes on how to not shit in the well water.

      This will end well.

      • Aggie says:

Who’s that Doc on The Simpsons? Dr. Nick (“Doctor Neek!”)? Yeah, good match.

  4. Dwan Seicheine says:

I already have it in my med kit. The proper shit, not aquarium cleaner.

Wasnt Viagra originally for heart conditions?

    • Ed says:

      Hadn’t noticed…

    • (((Doc B))) says:

      Yes.

    • J-West says:

I am sure there are several women who had to crawl out from under a Viagra-lace corpse whose heart couldn’t take the excitement. So I suppose in some sense Viagra does have some thing to do with heart condition. It separates the weak ones out.

Jesus Frankenstein is next unless you find it it first.

    War baby. Did it.

  7. Berglander says:

Oddly enough, 23,000 Americans died of influenza so far this season.

    • J-West says:

Influenza is nature’s way of culling the old and weak. It’s not a nice thought, but it’s necessary. And there are worse ways to die than expiring in a comfortable bed surrounded by whomever gives a shit about you. Pneumonia is called ‘the old mans friend’.

      • Wirecutter says:

Angel’s daughter was 21 years old and strong when she died a couple years ago from pneumonia brought on by the flu, and she died suddenly and alone in her bed in the middle of the night. Angel had taken her into the doctor 2 days prior who said there were no complications and she’d recover nicely.

  8. Dan says:

Sisolak is an old school Vegas mob politician who drank the commie demonrats Kool aid. He is working feverishly to destroy Nevada, enslave it’s citizens and make us a carbon copy of neighboring Kalifornia.

He has pretty much killed the aerospace industry in his state.

  9. Michael Montgomery says:

He literally has shit for brains.

  10. Earth Pig says:

These little tyrants have been waiting all their lives for this. All of them were probably middle school hall monitors in their youth.

  11. Nemo says:

    He’s a Demonrat. That’s all qual’s he needs.

  12. Brenda says:

I live in Nevada. Did not vote for Sisolak. Can’t stand him. There was a recall petition circulating before all the Kung Flu started. I don’t know where the recall stands but I hope it gets him out of office!

    • Marach says:

Still going. Do not know the level of effort, but I see a petition signature collector parked across the street from the Costco in Carson City every time I go there.

  13. Mark says:

Read the order carefully. The entire order. I hate standing on the side of a Democrat, but this is very sensible, if it preserves the medicine for people who have a diagnosis and are being treated by a Dr. We’ve seen what happened to toilet paper and paper towels. We don’t need people who are not ill stockpiling this medication, and depriving the sick of needed medication.

    • Wirecutter says:

Isn’t a prescription medication? Prescribed by doctors?

      • Sanders says:

It is. My daughter is a veterinarian assistant and she said her boss checked to see if she could order some to have on hand, but it was only available to people doctors.

      • Mark says:

Drs don’t “prescribe” meds in a hospital setting. They “order” them. Nice little loophole there. Unfortunately, there are a lot of bum Drs out there that will write a prescription for anything for the price of an office visit, e.g, oxycodone, vicodin, hydroxychloroquine. In a hospital, a Dr can order whatever he sees fit. The FDA has approved hydroxychloroquine for off label use in the treatment of covid 19. If I come down with covid 19, I want plenty of hydroxychloroquine available for my Dr in the hospital, not sitting unused in some hoarder’s bug out bag or medicine cabinet. Hard choices have to be made, and I really hate agreeing with that POS Dem gov, but I damn sure don’t want life-saving meds to go the way of TP.

        • Dwan Seicheine says:

I’m not ‘hoarding’ I bought it and others like it years ago. Therefore I was never hurting the supply chain. I just thought ahead.

    • Nazzara says:

Eh. If I’m going to hate someone, even someone with a (D) next to his name, I’d rather hate them for something he deserved. Thanks for doing tbe legwork and checkingg this story out

    • Shell says:

How does the order “…preserve[] the medicine for people who have a diagnosis and are being treated by a [doctor].” and how is anyone going to stockpile it if the *only* way to get it is with a doctor’s prescription?

    • J-West says:

So far it is doctors who are stockpiling the drug for themselves, their families and probably their friends. Everyone looks out for their own. That is human nature.

  14. Stretch says:

The order actually allows for the use of the drug FOR THOSE WITH CONFIRMED CASES. Thus making sure supplies won’t be wasted on the “Gee, I’ve got the sniffles.”

  15. Goose says:

Boomers let me remind you of the “Black Rules” (as opposed to the Golden Rule).
    1. Once you have committed a murder all subsiquent murders you commit are for free as the penalty cannot be repeated or increased.
    2. No matter what you will not survive prision. so “What Me Worry”
    3. If a politician murders your kin by this type of decision………………

    To Wirecutter,
Maybe the time to be nice has passed!

  18. nines says:

    Reprehensible.

  19. Sedition says:
